Gascoigne’s former wife wins libel case

PAUL Gascoigne’s ex-wife Sheryl has accepted un- disclosed libel damages over a claim that she prevented him from seeing their son Regan.

She was at London’s High Court yesterday for the settlement of her action against MGN Limited over a December 2009 article in The People.

Her solicitor, Roddy Chisholm-Batten, told Mr Justice Tugendhat that the story – “Gazza heartache: Star in new booze fear after rift with son” – was untrue. It suggested that Sheryl had refused to speak to her ex-husband and had deliberately changed her telephone numbers to prevent him seeing Regan over Christmas.

The article also suggested it was feared that Gascoigne would revert to heavy drinking as a consequence of her “insensitivity”.

Chisholm-Batten said that MGN Limited wished to apologise publicly for the distress and embarrassment caused and had agreed to pay damages and Sheryl’s legal costs.

If you happen to do one

If you happen to do one small thing wrong during that opening phase, you could suffer long-standing damage to the business as well as the owner’s reputation.

Small things can irritate people and make them have negative thoughts about you or your business.

We always had an in house joke with our customers; we’d say to them “if you really like our work, please tell at least TEN other people!” “But if you don’t like something we’ve done PLEASE tell
us first, we want to make sure that you are 100% happy with our product and service”.

And of course, good customers were always rewarded with bonuses the next time they came in, especially when friends came in and said that “so and so told us to come to your studio for a family sitting”…That is good referal business.

Doing business with people is a two-way thing…

Man, on the other hand, has a volitional, conceptual awareness.

Our body, emotions, mind, soul, and our awareness form the whole person. It is only by dealing with each part of the whole, that we can have complete health. All are connected and one can?t complete the value-judgment without the others. In Romans 2:15 Paul refers to the moral awareness that conscience awakens in Christians: ??the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.?

With the addition of wireless technology, and camera devices becoming more miniscule in size, you can purchase one and install it indoors or outside of your home as a security system. There are also pinhole lenses, ceiling mount smoke alarm color cameras and door view cameras available for home use.

Dome type cameras are also used in public places. With the rise of terrorist attacks after the September 11, installation of these cameras in public places has become more important than ever. Cameras equipped with high-powered zooming capabilities attached to a powerful computer with state of the art software, can trace the movement of suspects and recognize facial patterns and behavioral movements.

Well, if not a chill down the

By admin July 28th, 2010, under Uncategorized

Well, if not a chill down the spine, certainly a feeling of worthlessness, of being a loser.

Loser! Throw this word at a person and his self-esteem will be shattered in less than no time. And, a loser is not that different from being ordinary, is he?

So, what differentiates the ordinary from the, well, extraordinary?

Ability?

If that is so, I must hark back to Van Gogh and his failure while he lived and his subsequent though posthumous success. If he had no ability, how come his paintings sell for millions each now…no, not millions, I’m sorry, but hundereds of millions. Yet, Van Gogh died penniless – for, while he lived no one bought his paintings.

Was he ordinary while he lived and extraordinary after he died?

What was it that changed after his death?

The answer, simply, is perceptions.

He was both ordinary and extraordinary.

Rules and priorities

By admin July 28th, 2010, under Uncategorized

Rules and priorities may change so much that the child feels as though their whole world has been turned upside down. This is when a child can become very argumentative and wants everything their own way. You need to see things from a child?s point of view and put yourselves in their place and then review the situation.

For older children you will be able to talk and discuss matters but for the younger ones who don?t understand they will be much harder to reason with and pacify. However, they say that time is a great healer and you will need to be very patient during the process.

Divorce can happen to anyone at any time. Divorce can also happen at any age. Whether you are young or old it is just as difficult to deal with and you will need to be strong to survive a divorce.

A divorce can be very traumatic when deciding which items will go with whom especially if things have been bought between you or things given to you both from relatives or friends and as wedding presents, anniversary presents, birthday and Christmas presents.

It can be very difficult deciding which things would be better with whom as you will probably still stay in contact with most of each others friends who will no doubt visit both of you at some time during the future in your new abodes.

Divorce proceedings do take time to finalise so you will both need to be patient until things get resolved.

You have to

By admin July 28th, 2010, under Uncategorized

You have to ask yourself are you ready to deal with someone on that emotional level again. One important question you have to ask yourself is are you confident enough in yourself that any let down or rejection during your foray into dating will not damage your emotional state.

3. What kind of person are you going to date? Your tendency may be to try and find someone who is the complete opposite of your ex-spouse. While this may sound good if you think about it it’s probably not a good idea. Why? You were attracted to your ex-spouse for a variety of reasons. Because your marriage didn’t work doesn’t mean that you didn’t like some of the things that attracted you to your ex in the first place. You need to accept people for who they are, not who they remind you of.

If you find yourself sharing memories

By admin July 28th, 2010, under Uncategorized

If you find yourself sharing memories with family members and they say that they don’t remember this or that, it may be that you are confusing things.

3. Every relationship you have winds up with some type of failure. Everyone has friends, thank goodness, but what about relationships that are more than just being friends. Do they end peacefully… or do they end where you have to hide from the other person?

4. You notice that you talk about the same thing repeatedly, but no one else seems to want to talk about it. If you go on and on about something, and everyone else is looking at you, you may need to seek additional help.

5. When you are by yourself, you feel lonely and notice that you are dependent on others to keep you satisfied and entertained.

6. You feel like you are constantly in water trying to get around. Or you feel that you have an imbalance in your head that keeps you from functioning as well as you know that you can.

If you know someone with any of these signs, I strongly recommend that you get them to a counselor to ascertain if any deeper conditions exist.
